Contribution Guidelines
The independent Green Hell wiki must only exist so long as it provides accurate, non-plagiarized materials in an ad-free and speedy manner. The reason for this is to ensure that the independent Green Hell wiki does not become redundant to any other wikis or sources of information.
General Editing Rules
Whether you are creating an original article or editing an existing one, it's imperative that we all agree on some basic ground rules to avoid chaos:
- Create and edit articles in English (for now, multi language support is coming soon!)
- Use the concise, neutral language
- Cite sources when possible
- No revenge-edits
- New pages must represent current game mechanics (no suggestions, future items, or others)
- No self promotion
- No inappropriate, noninclusive, unprofessional language
Plagiarism
YOU MAY NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, COPY/PASTE INFORMATION DIRECTLY FROM THE ORIGINAL WIKI! YOUR ARTICLE/EDIT WILL BE REMOVED!
It is imperative that we strive to recreate, not repaste the information that can be found on the original wiki. This is because:
- Some information on the original wiki may be out of date
- Some authors may not be properly credited
- Some information may be copyrighted
- The overall content quality is low, and needs to be readdressed
Page Guidelines
Creating a page can be a daunting task, especially when it has no structure yet. Please review the Article Sample for a template to use. Please use this template to ensure the wiki remains uniform and accessible. Note that if you do not use this template, a moderator may later edit your article to bring it into uniformity.
